Library Screening

MDS's library screening services assist our clients to isolate a full-length cDNA clone or to find genes in related species by using a probe from one organism to screen a genomic library from another. MDS uses the customer's probe to screen a custom or premade library. Our library screening service includes:

• Screening strategy
• Probe design and synthesis
• Primary screening
• Secondary screening
• Tertiary and quaternary screening, if needed
• Isolated and purified target clone(s)
• Hard copy report
• Original blots
• Return of project materials (upon request)
• On-going consultation during the project
