Phenotype Characterization

MDS's experienced scientists can assist you to phenotype your transgenic and knockout mice. Please send your experimental and control mouse femurs, spleens, fetal livers or live mice and we can evaluate:

• Myeloid, erythroid, megakaryocytic and lymphoid progenitor content
• Mesenchymal progenitors
• Support of hematopoiesis using long-term cultures
• Altered cytokine responsiveness of progenitors
• Phenotype of hematopoietic cells by flow cytometry
• Gross examination
• Progenitor analysis
• Stress/recovery analysis
• Immunophenotypic analysis

The in vivo analysis of mice to examine the effects of your compound on:

• Stem cell mobilization
• Tri-lineage engraftment
• Red blood cell and white blood cell counts
• Bone marrow or peripheral blood progenitor proliferation/quantitation
• Complete blood cell counts
• Serum ELISAs

Marrow toxicity by evaluate any stimulatory or inhibitory effects of your compound in hematopoietic colony assays using bone marrow progenitor cells from intact bones from your mouse experiments.
