Scotch Tape Test

Slides may be submitted if properly prepared. The gummed side of transparent tape should be pressed against the perianal region of the rodent, then firmly adhered to a glass slide and smoothed with cotton or gauze before submission (properly labeled). Otherwise, live animals should be submitted for processing. Slides will be examined microscopically for pinworm ova.
